Established in 1994 as a subsidiary of Biocon Limited, Syngene is an internationally reputed custom research and manufacturing company with multi-disciplinary skills in integrated drug discovery and development, with capabilities in medicinal chemistry, biology, in vivo pharmacology, toxicology, custom synthesis, process R&D, cGMP manufacturing and formulation development for both small and large molecules. Syngene has over 1500 scientists and supports R&D programs from lead generation to clinical supplies.

We are currently offering these services to over 70 clients globally. These services are offered on a strong platform of confidentiality and intellectual property protection. Our highly experienced scientific and strong project management teams ensure execution of projects in a timely and cost effective manner with high standards of quality. Our research facilities are certified with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007. Our animal facilities are GLP certified by the Indian authorities and also AAALAC accredited.

Syngene has state-of-the-art facilities spread across 90 acres with 1,000,000 sq. ft. of working space. This includes approximately 500,000 sq ft of Chemistry & Biology laboratories, cGMP Kilo Lab, Bio manufacturing Facilities, Animal Facility and Formulation Development Centre. We have over 17 years of experience in successfully offering our services from startup companies to large pharmas in USA, Europe and Asia Pacific including Japan.
